I occasionally build little projects in my spare time. Some of my academic projects are listed on my resume below. A few of my favorite personal projects are:
Flock Dot
Interactive flock simulator based on Boids. There is a more detailed description with a link to a relevant paper on the site in the "What is this?" link in the upper right corner.
Fractal Growth
Fractal simulator written in javascript which generates fractals by Diffusion Limited Aggregation.
Add Contact
An Android app to streamline adding contacts as well as finding recently added contacts. The app is free and the source is available on my github. I would appreciate a download and a rating. :)
Pendulum Clock
Pendulum Clock is a very simple Android App to simulate a pendulum clock. A pendulum clock is a clock which keeps time using the period of a pendulum, for example, a grandfather clock.
However, the period of a pendulum depends on the local acceleration due to gravity. Therefore, if you put a pendulum clock in an elevator, it's period will change as it accelerates up and down. This app was made to explore that phenomenon using the accelerometer in my android phone.
